The President of India on the eve of Republic Day, Wednesday, approved the list of receiver of the prestigious Padma Award for 2012. In total 109 Padma Awards would be presented this year - 5 Padma Vibhushan, 27 Padma Bhushan and 77 Padma Shri Awards
